BECOME A VOLUNTEER

An event of this magnitude would not be possible without the mass support of volunteers. For the Race for the Cure we are looking for between 200 and 250 volunteers (including at least 50 on Saturday 26 September).

 

We need volunteers for the following tasks:

 

• Putting up and preparing marquees and stage
• Preparing goody bags
• Welcoming participants
• Processing unregistered participants
• Handing out t-shirts and numbers
• Managing drinks, fruit and sandwiches
• Assisting participants and supporters
• Clearing up after the race

I am a voluntary participant of the Race and am solely responsible for my personal health, safety and personal property. In consideration for my participation at the Race, I voluntarily assume full and complete responsibility for, and the risk of, any injury or accident or damage to personal property that may occur during my participation in this event or while on the event premises. I release and hold harmless Think-Pink and Susan G Komen for the Cure and will not file suit against either party.
