WHAT IS THE RACE FOR THE CURE?

National Breast Cancer Awareness Month kicks off in Antwerp on Sunday September 26th. This permanent public awareness campaign, known throughout the world by the pink ribbon, comes to Belgium for the third time, under the name Think-Pink. This year, the campaign launches in Antwerp with a new event for Belgium: the Race for the Cure.

The Race is a 6km run/3km walk for all ages and fitness levels, open to participants that wish to celebrate their own successful fight against breast cancer or pay tribute to their less fortunate friends. Every participant pays an entry fee, but can donate more through collected sponsorship and fundraising activities.
