the Race
the village
Before, during and after the race, everyone, including non-participants are welcome in the village of the race, where you can eat& drink something tasty and healthy, where information on breast cancer is exchanged, where all kinds of great Think-Pink Gadgets (pins, bracelets, T-shirts ...) are sold ... But above all, it is a get-together with all participants of the race. Jo Lemaire will present the brand new "Think-Pinks-song", live-bands, graffitiwall, fun for children,...so every reason to be there!
OZ trailer
This year also the OZ- fit trailer will attend the Race for the Cure. Everyone is welcome in the trailer for a free fitness test. After an initial interview with the physical coach, your body composition is measured, and your physical condition is tested using a submaximal cycling test (+ / - 15 minutes). Your results will be discussed immediately after and a customized training schedule for 10 weeks is explained. During those 10 weeks you can count on the support of the physical coaches.
Think-Pink Song
Jo Lemaire will bring a new number on the market in collaboration with vzw Think Pink, the breast cancer campaign in Belgium. The song must raise awareness for breast cancer screening for women. The song "Seize the day" will be presented in premiere at the Race for the Cure and will be followed by a mini concert. Afterwards the Groof Axezz ' band will continue tot take care of the the great musical atmosphere.
The think-pink bus
The Think-Pink bus is also there for all participants of the Race for the Cure. In this Think-Pink bus people are informed in a pleasant way about the importance of screening mammography. After the explanation by a breast nurse, you can enjoy a massage or a facial treatment.
Cooking for Think-Pink!
We are looking for people who are willing to bake a cake. Our volunteers will sell the cake at the Race for the Cure. Just bring the cake (on Sunday) to the "KitchenAid tent". Thanks a lot for the support!
Start to dance
The Warming-up given by Start To Dance will be Zumba. After the Race you can participate in a stretching on music.
Delhaize food stand
In the morning you will have the possibility to eat a delicious and healthy breakfast. For this you can come to the Delhaize food stand, where you can enjoy a breakfast buffet with coffee, tea or fruit juice for the price of 4 euro. (from 75 breakfasts onwards: € 3 a breakfast)

Show
After the Race there will be a show by Think-Pink ambassador, Jo Lemaire, followed by the band 'Groof Axezz'. Live music from 12 untill 15u
Win lingerie by Marlies Dekkers!
Female participants in the 'Race for the Cure' can win one of the 10 sets of lingerie by Marlies Dekkers. Formal tennischampion Dominique Monami will give clinics in the Marlies Dekkers tent, as a part of the MOVE-campaign. At 10u, 10u30, 12u30 and 13u30 you can join in.
